Cross Stitch

hi frnds...
I hav found another passtime at home...
To do cross stitch paaterns..
Cross stitch comes under various stutches of embroidery..
can make patterns or figures usin this stitch on cloth n so i tried the very basic ones...
here r few of them..
i hav used only cross mark stitch to do these pics,n a combination of coloured threads...
it took a day time for me to stitch one piece...these cloth pieces can b either framed or used as table cloths..n ppl can b worked on bed covers, pillow covers, cushion covers n so on...
these two pieces r my first attempt n i will continue to try various designs in future...
first is a pattern of a becky...
its close up pic...
secondly,its bunny with carrots...
as these two are very small,am plannin to frame them..the pics r taken b4 framin...bt ppl,i would say we will really need a whole sum of patience to this cross stitch patterns..as they r fully based on counts of the cross stitch...we got to count each n every stitch to continue the pattern,to get the exact design...once u start a piece,we got to finish it in time..else we will get confused with the stitches.. :) but a fantastic work to do...am juz enjoyin the work...i hope u also will give a try to them...
regards,
dharsh...
