Deepavali..Its Origin...

Hi frnds…
Wish u all a Happy DEEPAVALI….
I believe u all enjoy this festive with the crackers(same old stuff) n with new joy,coz each diwali is different always…We celebrate Diwali on the “vadham” of Narakasura by Lord Krishna,to enjoy the death of the evil person…So,on this day,I am gonna tell his story…hey its gonna b short..so don worry..
There was a king called Narakasura…he was really a bad man,who tortured his own prajha…one small example for his cruelty is,he used to kill a man(human in general) daily which we locally call Narabali..N as we alll knw, there r 3 worlds, heaven, hell n earth…then reached Indra(lord of Indralokam)the complaint abt Narakasura, sayin if all these evil deeds continue, the Boomi can neva take it..Nw Indran went to Lord Vishnu for help…But this Narakasura, asusual, had a boon..The boon was his death can occur only with his mom’s hands(has used mommy sentiment…)…n nw Lord Krishna(avatar of Vishnu) with his wife Bama(Bumidevi) went to attack him..But Lord Krishna wasn’t able to assasinate him(bcoz of his boon..he he he..)N all on a sudden,Narakasura attacked Lord Krishna…Nw Krishna fainted n he fell down..Shocked at this incident,Goddess Bama attacks Narakasura..This man Narakasura, unexpected, fainted n was nearin death..At this moment,Lord Krishna woke up(he is ulaga maga Nadigan, tricky fellow,b4 acts as if he fainted)n clears the doubt of Narakasura..Yeah,U got it right,Goddess Bama(Avatar of Bumadevi) was the mom of Narakasura n this is how his death happened..At the last minute,Lord Krishna asked Narakasura’s Last wish n his wish was that, all people should remember me n my death forever n should celebrate it with lights, hav oil bath n enjoy the day with full excitement..N it was granted for him..So,this is why we r celebrating Diwali..Ppl,all this happened after Ramayana,so plz don hav any of those silly questions..
Fine frnds,One good work today was to knw the reason y we celebrate diwali…With have a HAPPY DEEPAVALI…

Warli Painting..

first let me discuss a intro on warli paintin n then comes my work on it frnds... A Introduction About Warli n Warli painting: The Warli or Varli are an Indian Scheduled Tribe . These indigenous people live in talukas of the Thane , Nasik and Dhule districts of Maharashtra , the Valsad District of Gujarat [1] , and the Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu union territories [2] . They have their own beliefs, life and customs which have little in common with Hinduism . The Warlis speak an unwritten Varli language mingling Sanskrit , Marathi and Gujarati words. The word Warli is derived from warla, meaning "piece of land" or "field". Their extremely rudimentary wall paintings use a very basic graphic vocabulary: a circle, a triangle and a square. The circle and triangle come from their observation of nature, the circle representing the sun and the moon, the triangle derived from mountains and pointed trees.
